The Three Little Pigs are the noted house-builders of Fairy tale fame, who have frequently appeared on Sesame Street. Perhaps best remembered for their appearances on Sesame Street News Flash segments, the pigs often come into conflict with The Big Bad Wolf.
The pigs have been performed by various puppeteers, including David Rudman, Kevin Clash (house of straw, 1980s), Jim Henson (as one of the five little pigs), Frank Oz (house of straw, 1970s), Joey Mazzarino (house of straw, Episode 4145), Martin Robinson, Eric Jacobson (house of brick, Episode 4145), Jerry Nelson (as two of the five little pigs), Richard Hunt (house of brick, 1980s) and Stephanie D'Abruzzo (house of twigs, Episode 4145).
In Episode 4149, Abby Cadabby calls the three little pigs on her "cell wand" where they reveal that their names are Iggy, Wiggy and Melvin.
