The Teppums were extraterrestrial counterparts to the Muppets, but with backwards names. They had a show that was broadcast on a different planet than earth, which Digit was able to get acess to in Episode 101: Science Fiction of The Jim Henson Hour. They appeared on a purple monitor. They sang "Chattanooga Choo-Choo with the Muppets.

Named Teppums include Timrek the Gorf and Oznog.
