The TV-DVD Awards
Talk0this wiki
The TV-DVD Awards are an industry award honoring the best television show releases on DVD. Each year, a list of nominees are released based on their overall DVD treatment, including program content, bonus materials and packaging. The year's DVD releases are sorted into 17 categories, with only the top four in each category making the nominations. The ultimate winners of the award are based on an online consumer vote that runs throughout October. Winners are announced in mid-November.
The annual awards, which started in 2004, are produced by Home Media Magazine in cooperation with TVShowsOnDVD.com (at one point a subsidiary of TV Guide, now of Lionsgate), DEG (The Digital Entertainment Group) and The Hollywood Reporter.
