The Surprise Monsters are two monsters who appear in the 2004 Sesame Street direct-to-video special A Magical Halloween Adventure. They love to pop up unexpected and shout "Surprise!" at anyone. On Halloween, they especially like to surprise anyone who comes through the pumpkin patch by popping up unexpected and anyone who goes on a hayride by popping up from a pile of leaves.
