The Sugar Plum Fairy is the benevolent, if furry, ruler of the Land of Sweets in the Sesame Street book-audio set Big Bird Presents the Nutcracker. She welcomes Clara (Prairie Dawn) and the Nutcracker-Prince (Grover) with an array of confectionary themed dances. She also invites them to her palace for a grand waltz (with Placido Domingo as her cavalier)... until the Mouse King (Cookie Monster) starts to devour everything in sight.
