The StoryTeller: Greek Myths is a four episode mini-series starring Michael Gambon as the storyteller, Brian Henson as Dog and creatures from Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The series first aired in the UK in 1990.

Jim Henson mentioned developing the program in July 1989 during An Evening with Jim Henson and Frank Oz. When asked about the possibility of more Storyteller style programs, Henson stated:

  We've expanded the Storyteller concept and we're presently working on a group of Greek myths that are going to be told in a similar style. It won't be exactly the same. I think it will probably not be John Hurt but it will be a storyteller telling Greek myths. And we're using the same visual techniques.
