The soundtrack for The StoryTeller contains Rachel Portman's score for each episode of the television series and its spin-off The StoryTeller: Greek Myths.

The release celebrates the 30th anniversary of The StoryTeller and comes with a booklet containing exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes photos. The 3-CD set is limited to 1,500 copies.

Previously, a soundtrack release was planned by La La Land Records between 2009 and 2011,[1][2][3] but was subsequently cancelled.[4]
