In Sesame Street episode 2596, Mr. Snuffleupagus tells Alice Snuffleupagus about the time when he learned that the Snuffle-Fairy isn't real.

Oscar the Grouch told him that the fairy wasn't real, and Maria confirmed it when Snuffy asked. However, Snuffy and Alice continue to pretend that the Snuffle-Fairy is real.
