The Rhymies
Template:Performer-various The Rhymies were three Anything Muppets with shaggy hair who appeared in a couple of Sesame Street sketches in the late 1970s. Their name derives from the fact that they speak entirely in rhyme.
Their names were Larry (made from a Lavender Anything Muppet), Mary (made from a Green Anything Muppet), and Barry (made from a Fat Blue Anything Muppet).
Sketches
The Rhymies at Sea (EKA: Episode 1162)
- The Rhymies go sailing at sea, when the boat sinks. In this sketch, Larry was performed by Richard Hunt, Mary was performed by Jerry Nelson, and Barry was performed by Jim Henson.
The Rhymies Go Camping
- The Rhymies camp in the wood, when a bear wreaks havoc. In this sketch, Larry was performed by Frank Oz, Mary was performed by Bob Payne, and Barry was performed by Jerry Nelson.
