The Princess is the daughter of the King in the Mother Goose Stories episode "Humpty Dumpty". She longs to marry the the prince, but her father has passed a law stating only someone who can create a riddle that he cannot answer will be able to earn her hand in marriage.
Humpty Dumpty learns of this challenge and unbeknownst to the princess, he tries to invent a riddle so he can wed her. Humpty soon falls to his apparent demise before he can pose his question to the king. However, the fall of Humpty Dumpty inspires the prince with a riddle which stumps the king and allows the princess to marry her love.
