The People in Your Neighborhood is a recurring Sesame Street tune-in segment that premiered in Season 43. Hosted by Murray Monster and Ovejita, it is a successor to Murray Has a Little Lamb and features the two visiting people with unique careers around the city.

The segment begins with Murray rapping a version of "The People in Your Neighborhood" on the streets of New York City. The original song appears throughout the segment as an instrumental backing score.
