The Odyssey is an epic two-part miniseries, similar to Gulliver's Travels, adapting the Greek epic poem of the same name. The production aired over NBC and was executive produced by Francis Ford Coppola. Jim Henson's Creature Shop provided an array of creature effects, including a talking pig roasting on a spit, the computer-animated Hydra, and a full-bodied cyclops, performed by sumo wrestler Reid Asato.
