The Mutations sang "Teenager in Love" with Connie Stevens on the second episode of The Muppet Show. They were a trio of identical full-body monsters. They reappeared both as a group and individually in many subsequent episodes.

The name "Mutations" is a parody of the famous singing group "The Temptations".
