CATCORA

The Muppets Kitchen with Cat Cora is a web series starring celebrity chef Cat Cora and the Muppets that debuted online on Disney.com on September 13, 2010.

The series was co-written by Craig Shemin and Elise Allen,[1] and was said to feature topics like "Food You Can Eat with Your Hands Night" and "Food That Gets Caught in a Mustache Night," as promoted at the 2009 D23 Expo. The show features new Muppet Chef Angelo.

"Hasty Tasty Cooking Tips with Cat Cora & the Muppets," another show featuring leaner episodes, both in length and cast, airs on the same channel, as well as on Family.com. Hosts Cat Cora, Angelo and Pepe star, while a chicken appears sporadically.

Throughout the series the Muppets constantly make references to how Cat coincidentally already has everything they want to make on the show previously made, calling it "the magic of the Internet."

In 2011, The Muppets Kitchen with Cat Cora was nominated for a Webby Award in the Online Film & Video category for "Comedy: Long form or series". The program used to be sponsored by the Got Milk? advertising campaign and by Honda.

The working title for the show was "Cooking with Cat Cora". The series was originally conceived years before as "Fozzie's Kitchen,"[1] and was later called "Cooking with Cat Cora" during production. The Spanish dub on the show on Disney Latino is known as Cocinando con Los Muppets.

World's Biggest Sandwich

Angelo hears that Cat is making a Big Sandwich Show, and decides to make the world's biggest sandwich. Cat reveals that she technically planned a big show about the smallest sandwich in the world, her pinwheel hummus veggie wraps. They also make mini Greek burgers. Meanwhile, the building of the big sandwich continues, with a penguin and some rats supervising. In the end, the sandwich collapses, but Cat mentions that there is a world record for the world's biggest sushi roll. Angelo thinks that this is a brilliant idea, and Pepe signs off the episode.

The Newsman appears in a Muppet News Flash segment, and Beauregard and Yolanda make speaking cameo appearances as well, while Bubba appears silently in the background. The episode spoofs The Towering Inferno.

Kermit and Miss Piggy appear in an ad for the Snoogie (a parody of the Snuggie), which has only one hole so that Kermit can't escape Piggy's hugs.
