In promotion of The Muppets Blu-ray release, Disney Movie Rewards and Bounty paper towels presented The Muppets Hollywood Mayhem Blu-ray Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes began on March 15, 2012 and ended on June 15, 2012.

Twenty-five first prize winners received a Muppet Whatnot workshop kit and the grand prize winner received a VIP vacation for a family of four to Hollywood, California, including a tour of Hollywood and a year's supply of Bounty paper towels.

"Liking" the Muppets on Facebook would unlock more prizes such as a Kermit folding pillow pet, Muppet caps, and a Muppets Augmented Reality T-shirt.
