The Muppet Newsflash was a Muppet fan website that was established in February 2005 by blogger and Muppet fan Greg James. The blog published current news, updates and other reports regarding the Muppets, Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street and other Jim Henson Company works.

The site also posted several exclusive interviews with Henson performers, employees and cast members - including Tim Beedle, Julianne Buescher, Jim Lewis, Alan Muraoka, and Victor Yerrid. These interviews have since been archived on the Muppet Musings website.

The Muppet Newsflash also launched a Twitter account (@muppetnewsflash; the account was mentioned and retweeted by the The Jim Henson Company, Sesame Workshop, and Muppets Studio on several occasions. The site, along with its Twitter feed, were also mentioned in Sesame Street: A Celebration - 40 Years of Life on the Street.

James stopped posting to the blog in May 2010 and the address muppetnewsflash.com ceased directing to the site in February 2011. The blogspot address muppetnewsflash.blogspot.com however is still active.
