The Muppet Mindset is a Muppet fan website. Created in August of 2009 by Ryan Dosier as an answer to Muppet fans looking for an outlet to express themselves. The site hosts product and film & television reviews, as well as opinion articles, interviews, and news stories.
Articles on the site include exclusive interviews with Muppet Peter Pan comic writer Grace Randolph, comic artists Amy Mebberson, James Silvani and Dave Álvarez, Louis Henry Mitchell, Pam Arciero, Bill Barretta, Matt Vogel, Kevin Clash, Jerry Nelson, and writer Jim Lewis. The Mindset has also interviewed various Muppet fans about their fandom. Examples of this include presenting their Muppet collection, how a fan became a Muppet fan, and whatever ponders a fans mind.
The site also has a weekly article called Weekly Muppet Wednesdays, where every Wednesday, a different Muppet is spotlighted. The first Muppet to be honored in this weekly article was Floyd Pepper. In 2012, the site had reached the 100th Weekly Muppet, Kermit the Frog.
Boom! Studios often uses the blog's reviews to place on the back of the trade paperbacks of Muppet Comic books.
In 2011, the site partnered with The MuppetCast and Tough Pigs to launch MuppetFans.com and run the second annual The Muppet Madness Tournament.
