The Lunarmooners appeared in Muppets Tonight episode 104. The sketch purports to be a "pilot" made by the Muppets and guest star John Goodman in 1969, shortly after the moon landing.
The sketch is a black-and-white spoof of The Honeymooners. Guest star John Goodman plays Alf and Miss Piggy co-stars as his wife Alison. Fozzie plays his Art Carney-style neighbor, Newton.
In the sketch, Alf reverses one of Ralph Kramden's famous catchphrases: "One of these days, Alison... Bang! Zoom! Right to the Earth!"
