Gonzo announces the line-up
The Little Rascals, or Our Gang, was a series of theatrical short films which began as silent films in 1922 and continued on through 1944. Showcasing the adventures of poor neighborhood children (often referred to, as a troupe, as "Hal Roach's Rascals," though the shorts were usually labeled "Our Gang), 220 shorts were produced (as well as one feature film). The Our Gang shorts were repackaged in the 1950s for television under the title The Little Rascals, where they found a new audience and further cemented their status in pop culture.
