Added by MuppetVJ"The Inch Worm" was first performed on Sesame Street as early as Episode 0288 by a Muppet inchworm and a Muppet bug, respectively played by Jerry Nelson and Fran Brill, and on the album Big Bird presents Hans Christian Andersen.
The first time it was sung on The Muppet Show was in episode 109, when Charles Aznavour sang it outside a schoolhouse. The silhouette of Zelda Rose and some children can be seen through the window of the schoolhouse.
It was sung again by Danny Kaye and the cast, with an inchworm backstage in episode 316.
