The Four Tops
From Muppet Wiki
The Four Tops is a vocal R&B and jazz group known for such Motown hits as "Reach Out I'll Be There" and "I Can't Help Myself" in the 1960s. The Four Tops had consisted of the same four members, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, Lawrence Payton and lead singer Levi Stubbs for over 40 years. At present, with Benson and Payton deceased and Stubbs out of the group due to ill health, the group still tours with Fakir and, in the lead, former Temptation Theo Peoples.
The Four Tops appeared on Sesame Street in the 1980s to sing the songs "Please Be Careful (When You Cross the Street)" and "Standing at the Bus Stop Sign."
