Performer:

Donnie Budd was a hillbilly fiddler who fiddled and sang songs about numbers from 2 through 6. He was voiced by Bud Luckey, who created and animated his segments.

Some of his songs were re-recorded for The Count Counts. On this album, the singer was identified as the Amazing Slim.

Individual Segments

Two toucans do a two step. This segment was included in the videos Learning About Numbers and The Great Numbers Game. In the song listing on the back cover of The Great Numbers Game, this song is called "Country Two". This song was also featured on the Out of This World! (soundtrack) sung by The Count.
Three boars, Pekingese dogs, and snapping turtles get together on a fat woman's lap. This song was included in The Count Counts, where the singer was identified as "the Amazing Slim and His Counting Fools, with 'Red' Sales and His Son Seth" and the song was titled "The '3' Song."
Donnie sings about the number four when he is suddenly visited by four lions. This segment was included in Learning About Numbers and The Count Counts (which gives the title as "Four Big Lions"). This particular skit was in Episode 103: Kibbutz of Shalom Sesame.
Dogs, chickens, cats, frogs, and cows make the wrong sounds.
This song was included in The Count Counts, entitled "Country Six." In this song, the eponymous half-dozen snails leave silvery trails in their wake. These trails become other things, like nails (the tips of which turn into sails on boats).
