The Count at SeaWorld San Diego

Walk-around versions of Count von Count have been created for public appearances, including the Sesame Street Live stage shows and the Sesame Place theme parks. The Count made his debut in walk-around form in the Ice Follies in 1974, and was added to Sesame Place in 1992.

Outside of Sesame Place, the Count also appears at SeaWorld parks, Beaches Resorts, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios Japan (since 2005), PortAventura (seasonal, since 2013), Universal Studios Singapore (since 2017), and Selva Mágica. The Count also appeared at the now defunct Tokyo Sesame Place (joined in the late 1990s), La Feria de Chapultepec, and Parque Plaza Sésamo, and formerly appeared at SeaWorld San Diego.
