As the fabulous Number Parade goes by, the Count counts all of the amazing performers. There's one baton twirler, two dancing elephants, three tiptoeing turtles, four smiling bass-drum players, five wonderful upside-down violin players, six whistling bananas, seven flute-playing octopuses in sneakers, eight Susannas with banjos on their knees, nine horses, and ten tuba-playing Twiddlebugs.
At the end of the parade, the Count stays behind to count all the pieces of confetti.
