"The Bells of St. Mary’s" is a popular song written following a visit to St. Mary's Church in Southampton, England. It was used later in the 1945 film of the same name, sung by Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman. It has also been covered by Perry Como, Sheryl Crow, Aaron Neville, and Andy Williams.
The tune was adapted by two chickens in The Muppet Show episode 305, where they awkwardly pluck it out on bell chimes before knocking their instrument over.
