Changes: The Bellhop

The Bellhop (voiced by Gregg Berger) appeared in a series of animated segments on Sesame Street beginning in the late 1980s. A tireless hotel worker, the bellhop was continually asked by his manager (voiced by Camille Bonora) to perform various tasks, always illustrating numbers.

The segments were directed by Steven Dovas at Michael Sporn's studio. The backgrounds have a distinctive Art Deco style similar to posters from the 1920s-30s.

	2 (EKA: Episode 2503)	The Bellhop is told that there are two kids, Betty and Bobby Blobby, who are lost in the lobby, and he must help them find their parents.
	8 (EKA: Episode 2600)	The Bellhop is told to bring a hotel guest's luggage, consisting of 8 steamer trunks, down to the lobby. After struggling to get all eight steamer trunks down, the hotel guest decides to stay at the hotel for a few more days.
	10 (EKA: Episode 2624)	The Bellhop must take ten terriers for a walk.
	12 (EKA: Episode 2575)	The Bellhop is required to make wake-up calls for twelve guests. Once the lines are connected at the switchboard and all twelve guests answer, the Bellhop yells "WAKE UP!" into the receiver.
	14 (EKA: Episode 2571)	The Bellhop is asked to carry a guest's two small (but heavy) bags to room 14.
	16 (EKA: Episode 2496)	A customer gets on the elevator to the sixteenth floor, and the bellhop must go up the stairs and deliver her luggage before she arrives.
	18 (EKA: Episode 2639)	The manager tells the bellhop that somebody at table 18 at the hotel's restaurant has a phone call. He struggles to find table 18, annoying customers by checking each table number. When the bellhop finally finds the right table, he is told to leave a message.
	20 (EKA: Episode 2630)	The Bellhop is sent to the grocery store to get twenty grapefruits. He counts to 20 on the way there so that he can remember the quantity, but forgets what item he was sent for.
