The Andrews Sisters (Patti, Maxene, and LaVerne) were a group of singing sisters who first came to national attention with their recordings and radio broadcasts in 1937. Songs popularized by the Andrews Sisters have become among the most iconic recordings of the World War II era, and several have been performed in Muppet and Henson productions. The sisters themselves have also been parodied.

- On the 1979 Sesame Street album Every Body's Record, Bip Bippadotta performed "Everybody's Song" with the Androoze Sisters, a spoof of the famous trio. When the song was filmed, it was revealed that the Androoze Sisters were, in fact, pigs. They were voiced in both versions by Mary Sue Berry, Lynn Roberts, and Maeretha Stewart.
- In the Dinosaurs episode "Nuts to War: Part 2," Earl, Charlene, and Roy perform for the Pangaean soldiers as "the Sinclair Sisters," singing "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "Don't Sit Under the Pistachio Tree," a parody of the group's hit "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree."
- In episode 402 of The Muppet Show, Rowlf, Lew Zealand, and assorted seafood performed "Hold Tight, Hold Tight (Want Some Seafood Mama)", a song popularized by the Andrews Sisters.
- "I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time," another song popularized by the Andrews Sisters, was played in the background of one of the canteen scenes in "A Frog Too Far," the World War II movie spoof in the 1981 special The Muppets Go to the Movies.
