Kermit and Sam lip-synched to a recording of this song by Louis Prima and Keely Smith in an episode of Sam and Friends, "Old Black Magic." Kermit wore a brown haired wig in this sketch and took the female role. They performed the sketch again during an appearance on The Today Show.
The song was also performed by Sweetums and Cher in her variety show.
Jaye P. Morgan sang this song with Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem in The Muppet Show episode 218, which is introduced by Scooter instead of Kermit .
Miss Piggy sang this song with Andy Kaufman (as "Tony Clifton") in The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show.
