Tessie Twiddlebug is the mother of the Twiddlebug Family. Her husband is Thomas Twiddlebug, and her children are Timmy and Tina. They first appeared on Sesame Street in Season 5 (1973).

David Rudman performed Tessie during the late 1980s and 90s. Ricky Boyd voices her in the recent computer-animated segments.
