Television Without Pity (full title --- Television Without Pity: 752 Things We Love to Hate (And Hate to Love) About TV) is a reference-book of television pop-culture by Tara Ariano and Sarah Bunting, two of the founders of a website by the same name known for "snarky" recaps of primetime television programs.
Television Without Pity has entries for Muppet Babies ("a perfectly cute look at the imaginative play of... well, Baby Muppets...), The Muppet Show ("One of the few actually entertaining children's shows that never talked down to its audience") and Sesame Street ("...we don't really like Elmo -- but if that's what it takes to keep future generations of ankle-biters tuning in, okay.")
