Tedious J. Molehill is a fictional broadcasting executive who appears in the 1987 Sesame Street Live stage show Big Bird's Sesame Street Story.
Big Bird and friends pitch their idea for an educational children's program to Molehill, who owns Molehill Studio, runs the channel MHTV, and is Vice President in Charge of New Kiddy Shows. Molehill compliments their idea but turns it down, claiming it would upstage the commercials.
Character and show co-creator Jon Stone says Molehill "describes a lot of network program executives I've dealt with over the years".[1]
