Teddy Bird is a stuffed toy in the shape of a bird, similar to a teddy bear. Big Bird receives a red Teddy Bird from Granny Bird in the Sesame Street Book Club book What Did You Bring?

Though Big Bird seemingly cherishes the gift, and while similar stuffed birds occasionally surfaced in books, Teddy Bird never appeared on Sesame Street, unable to compete with Radar for Big Bird's affection.
