Tania Farzana is the Afghan-American producer of Baghch-e-Simsim (2011), the Afghan adaptation of Sesame Street.

In January 2002, Farzana was profiled on PBS series NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. Then a full-time student, it profiled how she was feeling a "strong pull" to return to Afghanistan, despite being raised in the United States as a child.
