Tammy Wynette (1942-1998) was a country music singer, most famous for her song, "Stand By Your Man."

She was spoofed with the character Hammy Swinette, who sang Stand By Your Can, a parody of "Stand By Your Man", and the singer billed as "Tammy Whynot" on the album The Count Counts.
