DVD Release

The information boxes for many Sesame Street episodes that are available on DVD has a note for DVD releases, and this release features a few episodes. However, I am not sure if this was ever released on DVD. I know that it was a resource video, sent to schools but not released commercially, and it is available on The iTunes Store, so I don't know if a "DVD" note would be appropriate for the pages on episodes featured in this video. Then again, it's possible that it has been released on DVD and sent to schools. But what should I do if it hasn't been released on DVD? --Minor muppetz 01:07, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

The infobox is also used for VHS, so that isn't an issue, I'd say. Go ahead and add it. I very much doubt it was put out on DVD, at least I'd be surprised, since from the resource videos I've found and research generally shows VHS is still more common for these (as its more accessible), though it's not impossible. But like I said, it doesn't matter. The box really should have said "video," not DVD, but it's in too many places now to change it, unless we use a bot. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 01:16, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
I thought the video and DVD stuff was for commercial releases. -- Danny (talk) 03:18, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
I'd buy that too. We never made any rule or had any discussion of that at all, really. But in which case, I'd think a note on the bottom of the relevant pages would not be amiss. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 04:03, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
