SS, early 1990sEdit

Okay, I remember in the early 1990s an animated/live action segment on Sesame Street with this song, around the time of the celebrity version of Monster in the Mirror.

It featured a yak cartoon character doing sort of a two-handed washboard scrubbing dance, or something, and I think it was about doing chores, possibly with some of the words changed. Pretty sure Gina and Savion appeared in it. It's not Muppets, but can anyone else delve back into their memories?

You're thinking of the recycling short "Yakety Yak - Take It Back." No use of Sesame cast members at all, as it was produced independently and only occasionally aired on the series; it was part of a larger PSA campaign, and was distributed on video and aired on other networks. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 20:26, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
