Another Muppet appearance Edit

A barely-animated U has appeared as a character in a Bert/Ernie sketch:

Bert sees birthday-party decorations and a cake nearby and wonders whose they are. Ernie explains that he's about to sing "Happy Birthday to U". Bert misunderstands and protests that it's not his birthday, but Ernie quickly corrects him by pointing out the capital U at his side:

"Happy Birthday to U,

Happy Birthday to U!

Happy Birthday, dear letter--

Happy Birthday to U!"

When Ernie finishes singing, an upper end of the U bends over to blow out the candles.

Bert reacts to the whole incident with his trademark groan; the sketch ends with a few bars of "Happy Birthday" played instrumentally. --ISNorden 22:31, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
