Back in 2001, on the old Muppet Central message board, somebody who was once an intern for Henson revealed that the Thog puppet no longer exists, and mentions that the character rotted in a closet before being thrown away. He (or she) also added that Thog would probably never be rebuilt, because he wasn't used much in the first place. Would it be a good idea to reveal this fact here? The Muppet Central message board changed significantly since then (it was originally a delphi forum), so it might be hard to track down that post (though I did once find a post at the Palisades forum that linked to the old Delphi Muppet Central forum). I can't remember what the thread was about (probably Thog), and I can't remember what the interns user name was (I also can't remember whether this intern was an anonymous user). --Minor muppetz 02:15, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- That's happened with just about every puppet from that era that wasn't preserved for some reason. I don't think it's that notable. —Scott (talk) 02:32, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Is it Babe, What Would You Say or What Would You Say? I never noticed that he sang the same song in two different performances. -- JParanoid 17:03, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- If it's the song that begins "As I have hoped for half a chance//To even ask if I could dance with you, you oo//Would you greet me or politely turn away?" then the name of the song is actually Oh Babe, What Would You Say?
