- Here's a useful quote off the bat, from Designs and Doodles p. 14: "It's possible that Kukla Fran and Ollie may have been the inmspiration for the formation of Henson's high school puppetry club. Jim joined to help design sets, scenery, and props, even though he had no special interest in puppets at this time. One thing Jim did know, however- he wanted to find a job in television, and the sooner the better." When I have more ti me, I'll rummage around for a direct quote in an interview or something. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 02:53, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- I also added a cite tag to the last error (the one that states Jim was only doing Sesame Street because he was a strong beliver in it). I know it's false, but having a direct quote or reference to refute it and show the true reason would be helpful to strengthen the "error" assertion. -- Brad D. (talk) 02:56, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- I know Joan Ganz Cooney talked about elements of Jim's early feelings about SS on a television docu (might've been Unpaved or the A&E one). I don't remember what she said exactly, but if anyone knows which one it was where she mentioned that Jim, in trenchcoat and hat, looked like he could've been one of the Weathermen, the information is from that segment I believe. --Cantus Rock 03:26, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
