Quilp[]
I think the Quilp is actually the alligator. He slithers around wherever the little orange guy goes -- hence, he is ubiquitous. -- Danny (talk) 02:31, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- I thought the "Ubiquitous" part of the name just had to do with the design of the page, which had the Quilp showing up multiple times in one panel. Of course, Andrew's addition of the name's origin could suggest that it is supposed to be the alligator. But the alligator is clearly an alligator, so why call it a Quilp when there is obviously another creature in the sketch that needs a name? I supposed we could argue about this, but we won't really get anywhere. It may just be best to ask Joe to ask Roger Langridge when he interviews him for issue #3. -- Peter (talk) 03:35, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
