Talk:The Reader's Digest Children's Songbook
From Muppet Wiki
Holy moly, I'd almost forgotten about this book! I have a a rather worn copy of it that's wire comb-bound inside the hard cover and many pages have come loose over the years. I've also got a softcover collection of Muppet sheet music I'll check the info on when I visit my storage unit later this year. Thanks for the memory trip! -- Melissa (talk) 18:17, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

This is a fantastic addition; what a great find! I'm not sure about the category -- does it qualify as a Muppet book, if there's other stuff in there too? -- Danny (talk) 11:14, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I'd call it a Muppet book, but what about Non-fiction books? It's certainly that. -- Wendy (talk) 15:53, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I've been thinking. What about a "Book Appearances" category, for books which are not about Muppet/Henson topics, but include a significant amount of related material? Not just mentions, but like in this case, or The Ubiquitous Pig, which includes a 7 page epilogue and image spread devoted to Miss Piggy. And there's a book, title has slipped my mind, on child education which includes interviews with Caroll Spinney and Carmen Osbahr, both as themselves and in character as Rosita and Big Bird. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 16:01, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- Matter of fact, I just did it. I'll add The Ubiquitous Pig later, and I know there's others out there. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 16:51, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
