an alternate versionEdit

I was recently at a library, a different library than the one I usually go to, and I found a copy of this book that is slightly different on the inside than what I'm used to. I think I've read something about the UK release having a different back cover, but this copy of the book didn't have a cover jacket, so I don't know if this is the UK edition (though it would be amazing for an american library to have a UK release of a book). Anyway, this version didn't have the introduction that the various Muppets make, and oddly enough it also didn't have the opening. Instead it has a few pages that list the contents, plus some quotes about the book (most of them were by the Muppets... I think one was by Kermit, and another was by Sam the Eagle, but there was a quote that I believe was from a real review, saying something like "The best show on this planet"). I didn't check this version of the book out from the library, though, so I could have missed some more differences. I don't know which version is which, but there appear to be at least three: Abrams 1978, Abrams 1983, and Peacock/Bantam 1978. The latter is a softcover. Perhaps you saw the 1983 version? If you go back to the library it would be easy to check the date. -- Wendy (talk) 03:53, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
