Talk:The Muppet Show: Season Three

A Frog is Not Born
I saw a Muppet Central post from somebody who was at Toyfare 2008 and happened to speak with Craig Shemin, who mentioned that the Frog is Born documentary won't be on the upcoming DVD release, due to some sort of rights issue. Right now it's the only source I've seen that said that this documentary won't be included, but should I cite that message board post, which cites that personal correspondence? Or should I wait until a more official article mentions it not being included (if not wait until a review of the release is available)? That post also mentions that the Muppet segment of I Love Liberty was almost included as a feature, but the company that owns the rights to that special backed out at the last minute. --Minor muppetz 02:31, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah. Besides, it's not long to wait; a few months, and we'll see for ourselves what's there and what isn't. When something is announced and doesn't make it, it usually does boil down to rights issues, so we don't need to note it (and we don't note what's almost maybe sort of included, though I'd love to see the I Love Liberty segment myself). -- Andrew Leal (talk) 02:49, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm confused. According to an interview with Chuck the Movie Guy, Kermit says that it's on there, but Fozzie (looking at the back of the box) says that it isn't. Could it be an Easter egg or something? It seems strange to mention it at all if it's not there, almost like they want us to try to find it.
- It was a newly-created behind-the-scenes featurette on Kermit the Frog. --Minor muppetz 14:18, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
