I just noticed this was in Celebrities, but in fact they never appeared with the Muppets. They can't count as composers either, since they didn't write the songs the Muppets covered, and no reference was ever made to them. As far as I can see, they have no legitimate connection (there's no doubt been other groups who have recorded multiple songs which were covered on The Muppet Show). It just slipped through the cracks, I guess. I'm deleting it, until such time, if any, as an actual connection is found. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 18:05, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- We have similar pages in Composers and Musical References. Would it be relevant for one of those? -- Danny (talk) 18:45, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'd already nuked it, but as I said above, they're not actually composers; a page on Leiber and Stoller, who composed the songs listed, would work, but they were never actually part of the group. And there's absolutely no reference either. The Beatles can include cover songs because we have other legit references, but that didn't apply here. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 18:48, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
