Not one but two reviewers on Amazon.com claim that this video's scenes are from an actual Sesame Street episode. We must get to the bottom of this! --Hilleyb 03:38, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, Brian! Well, I can't prove it, but I think they're just plain wrong. In 1987, they weren't selling stuff with previously released street scenes. I have most of the original 1987 series of these, and they had wraparound new material that went back and forth to classic clips. I've seen this one a bunch of times, and it's one of my favorites. Do you have this one? The way that Biff and Sully keep getting clips on their TV is not how they did it in regular episodes back then. Back then, they would cut from an insert, back to a street scene, and then cut again to an insert. This feels like a special or clip show, especially since the clips seem to "appear" on their TV, and then fill out the screen. Other tapes used similar devices, like when Maria was reading the paper in Big Bird's Story Time, and she'd turn a page, and out would come a Kermit Reporter clip. I don't know if any of this helps, but I think it's just wrong. -- Ken (talk) 05:20, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
