Talk:Silly Songs (The Muppet Show)

Correct Title
Edit
The label and spine of this album state the title as being "Silly Songs" without the "Jim Henson Presents" prefix. Would changing it be appropriate as with The Muppet Show Music Album?

- I would say yes, to match stuff like the Fraggle Rock albums, but let's see what everybody else thinks. By the way, do you have the US or the UK version of this? What label is it on? -- Ken (talk) 07:39, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- The problem is, in this case, there's already a Silly Songs album. We could move and make Silly Songs a disambig page (which isn't a bad idea anyway), or keep as is with a note about the spine, since right now both albums link to each other anyway. Personally, I'd vote for the second option. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 07:55, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- I have the US version. I don't think it was ever released in the UK. The label is "Muppet Music". It was distributed by IJE Inc. I suggest creating a Silly Songs disambiguous page. One for "Silly Songs (Sesame Street album)" and one for "Silly Songs (Muppet Show album)". If we do leave it as it is, surely it would make sense to change The Muppet Show Music Album to how it was, back with the "Jim Henson Presents" prefix.
