Understudies
Edit
Lately I've been reading some Muppet Central posts which mention certain characters being understudy characters, and wodner if it would be appropriate to mention such on this page. I don't know how common the knowledge is, or if sources would be provided (if that's the case, then I don't have anything, besides the forum posts). Some of the pages for individual shows mention characters who are understudies. I don't know if understudy characters are mentioned in the program books or not (I know that the program book for Elmo's Coloring Book doesn't). --Minor muppetz 15:05, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what understudy character means. If an actor isn't available to perform one day, another actor can still play that same character. —Scott (talk) 04:51, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not too sure about what they are either. I've read such info at Muppet Central recently, and it sounds to me like they are extra characters who don't talk and are played by understudies, I guess so that if one performer can't perform then a character can easily be dropped and the important characters can still appear. --Minor muppetz 12:13, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
When Elmo Grows Up
Edit
I presume this is a typo, and not a special test show? -- Zanimum 15:40, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
- You mean "Elmo Tickles the Kids"? I think that's just the headline for the article. -- Danny (talk) 13:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- I guess. -- Zanimum 15:49, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
