Another Example

I think it's worth noting Eugene Byrd's role in this episode of "Ghostwriter". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti-HuhPQG-s Garrettk41 04:31, April 29, 2012 (UTC)

Notes

I'd been meaning to create this page for awhile, as a companion to Muppeteers in Non-Henson Acting Roles. Right now, I'm not trying to copy each cast member's IMDb entry, just those which have both been confirmed (since in some cases, IMDb and other sources aren't reliable) and have images, but eventually, we can probably convert to full filmographies (in fact, if anyone wants to add in blanks which they don't have pictures for, please do so, as long as you can confirm the appearance). I'd tried including movie and TV appearances on the actor's pages, but there's not always room, and this allows for easy browsing. I think the definition is clear, but as mentioned before, the main purpose of these "Connection" type pages is to cover stuff relating to Muppet people which, on the whole, is of proven or potential interest to Muppet fans. I limited it to a two season tenure, since I don't think there's much point in chronicling every non-Sesame screen appearance by Buddy and Jim, or the likes of Charlotte Rae and Raul Julia who went on to bigger things which generally outstripped their single season stints in the memories of most people (not us, obviously). Similarly, while the likes of Ruth Buzzi, Bill Irwin, and Michael Jeter stayed longer and made sizable contributions, they were already famous and their other credits are easily found and obtained, in contrast to Sonia Manzano or Emilio Delgado, the folks whose non-street roles are few and far between or obscure. So, Bill McCutcheon and Savion Glover yes, Gedde Watanabe and Alexis Cruz, no. Does that make sense? -- Andrew Leal (talk) 06:49, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

That sounds fine to me. This is a fun page. I had no idea that Emilio's non-SS TV credits went back that far! -- Ken (talk) 07:01, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
