Signed copies, or book tour
I just ordered a copy of the book through Canadian book titan Chapters/Indigo, and it seems to be signed by Kevin Clash, Elmo, Gikow, Leslie Carrara, and Abby. The signatures even bleed through the first page of the book, where Cookie appears. Is this just printed on the book, or was this a remainder from some signing event, a signing event I can't find a single reference of. (I subscribe to Indigo's events Twitter, so I thought I would have seen mention of them up in Canada.) -- Zanimum 02:18, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
Now that the book is out, should we remove the sample pages? - Oscarfan 00:50, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
- They were released as a press junket to promote the book. I think we can keep them. —Scott (talk) 22:59, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
- I've read that some of the pages are different in the released version than in the sample pages. For example, I've read that the Jim Henson biography pages no longer include info on his last day on the set. --Minor muppetz 03:12, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
Episode 1 Edits
- Yeah, it's got "A Little Bit" and even retains the animated character intro and outro. It looks like it was lifted right from Old School. —Scott (talk) 16:50, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
Actual Release Date?
I was just curious about this. I've noticed that the release date for this book says that it will be out in October 1st here on this website. But on MuppetCentral.com, they say it will be out on November 10th (Sesame Street's actual birthday). I also went into a Barnes & Noble shop and they saids it would be on October 12th. What is the REAL release date for this item? -- User:Znsnyder
- Release dates are always subject to change. Amazon.com, which is largely what we use and usually the most accurate, has it at October 1st. Some retailers get it at different times than others as well. Basically, we'll know for certain once it comes out. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:11, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
