These two facts need a source:
- Although Sesame Neighborhood was one of the original concepts for the park, the area did not open until 1988, eight years after the park opened.
- The neighborhood is the nation's only fully functioning replica of the street, and the only outdoor re-creation of the set.
I'm sure they're true, but we ought to have references for them. -- Danny (talk) 13:13, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think they mention both of those things either on their website, or in the stuff I gave you. I'll look through my stuff too. Either that, or I must have read it in a book about theme parks in Pennsylvania, that I saw in Philadelphia. (Now I wish I had bought it!) -- Ken (talk) 04:08, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Is the headline "Sesame Neighborhood Newst Place On the Street" okay as a source? I assume this article talks about the addition, but its inaccessible without shelling out money. -- Zanimum 16:06, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, disregard. I found an ad from 1988 for the addition, plus Muppet Central mentions it. Now the "only fully functioning" one remains. -- Zanimum 16:23, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
